Our client, a non-profit organization serving mentally ill individuals in Chicago was in need of a benefits operations specialist to start as soon as possible in an open-ended temporary role. The employee in this position had recently given notice and relocated out of state, and our client needed candidates presented within one day’s time, to interview the following two days and start on Monday.

Identify – Benefits operations specialist to start immediately
Qualify – Candidates with at least one year of benefits experience and a bachelor’s degree
Deliver – A qualified candidate open to an open-ended project assignment with the potential to transition into full-time, permanent employment

The recruitment strategy consisted of the following:

Results

LaSalle Network was able to present two qualified candidates within one day’s time with an interview the following day. Our client was so pleased with the first candidate’s background, which included support of over 2,200 employees working with 401(k) vendors, deductions on healthcare and welfare, and medical and dental plans, that they hired her immediately. Our candidate started the following Monday and was an excellent match with our client’s culture and professional expectations.
