World’s Largest Brand Imaging Solutions Provider
Our client, an international brand imaging company, was in need of a junior recruiter to augment their Chicago-based recruiting team. Their ideal candidate would have one to two years of corporate or agency recruiting experience, specifically in high volume recruiting and be comfortable with national and international searches. This role would require handling recruiting for over 20 openings simultaneously, and utilizing social media as a tool to connect with passive and active candidates.
Identify – A junior recruiter with 1-2 years of corporate or agency recruiting experience
Qualify – Self-starters with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an in-depth understanding of social media as a recruiting tool
Deliver – A qualified candidate to start within two weeks time
To address our client’s time sensitive needs, LaSalle Network developed a specific sourcing and recruitment strategy to obtain the top entry level recruiting professionals available.
The recruitment strategy consisted of the following:
- LinkedIn and Candidate Database – Utilizing LinkedIn and one of the largest qualified candidate databases in the industry, LaSalle Network’s project managers were able to recruit over 40 candidates for this entry level recruiter role. After further qualifying these candidates LaSalle presented six to our client, three of whom interviewed for the role.
- Direct E-mail Campaign – LaSalle uses targeted email campaigns, received by up to 250 passive and active job seekers, which speak to candidates’ career motivations and goals. By tailoring our direct e-mail content to attract only the top candidates who are motivated and driven to excel at our client companies, LaSalle Network is able to place and retain the best talent in Chicagoland.
LaSalle Network presented six qualified candidates for this junior recruiter role, including one recent graduate with minimal professional experience, but who met many of the intangible requirements for which the client was searching. Our candidate was a self-starter with high energy, and a well-organized, great listener who could handle the demands of the job, as well as fit into the already existing team.
Reviewing her resume alone, our client was apprehensive she could handle the role, but LaSalle Network was confident in her abilities and potential, and encouraged the client to interview before dismissing her background. Our client agreed, and after meeting our “out-of-the-box” candidate, they offered her the job.
LaSalle Network provides our clients insight they could never receive from a resume alone. This results in better placements, every time.
