After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Colleen began her career as a staff accountant working in audit and tax with a leading Chicago-based financial solutions provider. After two years of public accounting and completing her CPA, Colleen decided to return to the industry and focus her career in general accounting.

After an extensive interview to qualify Colleen’s experience, long and short-term career goals and ideal work environment, LaSalle partnered with Colleen to set up three interviews for staff accountant opportunities. The interviews were with different Chicagoland companies in the manufacturing, technology and service industries. LaSalle’s goal was to give Colleen options surrounding this phase of her career.

Less than two months later, Colleen received an offer, including a 10 percent bonus, from her first choice organization, a company that was named one of Deloitte & Touche’s “Fastest 50 Technology Companies in Chicago.”
