LaSalle Network first interviewed Dawn, an accounts payable professional pursuing her accounting degree, in 2008 while she was employed as a junior accountant at an international truck rental company. LaSalle’s relationship with Dawn continued throughout various temporary assignments with other firms, and when she found herself between jobs in the summer of 2009, LaSalle had an opportunity for her.
Our client, a global consumer packaged goods company, was in need of an accounts payable specialist to cover a three month maternity leave. At a competitive hourly rate, a full-time schedule and an office location blocks away from her house, Dawn was able to support herself while gaining valuable experience with a new ERP system. After three months, LaSalle’s client continued her assignment after the on-leave employee returned to work.
