An experienced professional and entrepreneur, Ryan had been in marketing and brand management in the food and beverage industry for over five years. Armed with his extensive creative and design expertise within marketing, packaging design, brand development and 3D visualization, Ryan was poised to progress his career outside of the food and beverage industry.
LaSalle Network’s client, a global consumer packaged goods company located in the near northwestern suburbs, was in search of an associate brand manager responsible for assisting in determining objectives, strategies and execution of the brand’s annual strategic activation plan. The position was designed to develop longer-term brand building strategic skills, volume/profit management, as well as team-building and leadership skills in preparation for a brand manager position.
LaSalle set up an interview for Ryan, and after several phone and in-person interviews, Ryan was offered the position just over a month after his initial meeting with LaSalle.
