Our client, a leader in the consumer-packaged goods industry is looking to elevate their supply chain operations and are actively seeking a dynamic Inventory Planner to join their team.
As an integral part of our client's team, the Inventory Planner will contribute to the fine-tuning of the supply chain, ensuring seamless operations and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational abilities and a proven track record of collaborative success in cross-functional teams.
Inventory Planner Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced forecasting tools and historical data to predict product demand accurately
- Devise and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock and minimize carrying costs
- Foster strong collaboration with procurement, production and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts
- Place timely and effective purchase orders with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory data, identifying trends, forecast accuracy and areas for enhancement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inventory planning processes
Inventory Planner Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in inventory planning or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or a relevant field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in cutting-edge data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse departments
- Exceptional organizational abilities, managing multiple tasks with precision
- Proficiency in state-of-the-art inventory management software; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
