Staffing, Recruiting, Culture Firm Achieves 24 Percent Average Growth Year-Over-Year Since Inception

CHICAGO – LaSalle Network, a national staffing, recruiting and culture firm headquartered in Chicago, celebrates 20 years in business. Since inception on August 17, 1998, the company has helped more than 60,000 people find jobs, and more than 3,000 companies find the talent they need to grow their operations and continue investing in the economy.

“Twenty years ago, I started LaSalle Network with a vision, and that was to become the premiere staffing and recruiting firm in Chicago,” said Tom Gimbel, founder and CEO of LaSalle Network. “Two decades later, we’re working around the country with thousands of companies, and in doing that, we’ve established ourselves as a leading company to work for.”

LaSalle Network celebrates its anniversary every year with a week-long celebration, called LaSallemas. During this week, LaSalle donates to six charities nominated by LaSalle employees, and those selected this year included: American Red Cross, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, NPH USA, The Andrew Weishar Foundation, The Anti-Cruelty Society and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Five of these charities will each receive $1,500 and one will receive $5,000. This is LaSalle’s third year doing a week of giving back, and charity nominations are open to all employees.

Since inception, Gimbel set out to create a workplace that treated people right, that provided an environment where employees can grow personally and professionally, and a place where they were recognized for their efforts. Not only has the firm achieved organic revenue growth annually since inception, Gimbel has been able to grow and retain talent with the average tenure of LaSalle Network’s executive team being 15 years and the average tenure of the management team seven years. Further, 70 percent of management and leadership have been promoted from within. In the last 12 months, more than 50 people were promoted and 10 of those were into senior leadership positions.

Earlier this year, Gimbel took the entire company on an all-expenses paid weekend trip to Austin, Texas for hitting a company incentive goal, recognizing efforts across the entire company for hitting a sales goal including back-office support, as well as revenue producers.

“I was very fortunate that in my twenties I entered the field of staffing and recruiting,” said Gimbel. “It’s been something that has not only changed my life, but I’d like to think the lives of my staff, family and friends.
