We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Follow-Up Representative to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance follow-up processes, with specific experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
Insurance Follow-Up Representative Responsibilities:
- Conduct follow-up with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
- Identify and resolve insurance claim issues and denials
- Review and appeal denied claims as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
- Collaborate with billing and coding teams to resolve claim discrepancies
Insurance Follow-Up Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in insurance follow-up within a healthcare setting
- Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) highly preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
