The Accounts Payable Analyst should exemplify efficiency and have a motivated attitude. This candidate will be adding value to the organization as whole and should be able to produce at a high level.
Accounts Payable Analyst Responsibilities:

Review and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to vendors in accordance with payment terms and company policies

Maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms and tax identification numbers. Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
-
Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvements

Prepare and distribute reports on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, cash flow projections and payment schedules

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations in accounts payable processes
Accounts Payable Analyst Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience

Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is strongly desired not required

Proficiency in Excel/Accounting Experience
