We are currently seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our client's team in Bloomingdale, IL.

Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate credit worthiness of potential customers using financial statements, credit reports and other relevant information
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collections on overdue accounts
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address billing disputes and credit holds
- Prepare reports on credit and collections activities for management review
- Recommend changes to credit policies based on industry trends and company financial performance
Credit and Collections Specialist Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit and Collections Specialist or similar role, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry
- Strong understanding of credit principles, financial analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
