SAP Business Process Expert Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic business process improvement initiatives, including project planning, management, financial and operational analyses, along with change management
  • Collaborate and consolidate the needs of business, data and analytics for the North American region to contribute to the design of a key end-to-end process and policies as part of a Global Template
  • Drive initiatives requiring analytical and decision support by framing key issues, developing hypotheses, assessing risks, conducting analyses and identifying potential process solutions before launching broader implementation and engagement plans
  • Apply change management principles, processes and tools; identify change strategies, assess stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness, communicate with and train facility participants, provide appropriate support and supervision and measure project effectiveness
  • Manage and maintain business process documentation from current state flows to future state flows, prioritizing and managing region-specific requirements
  • Serve as the expert and main point of contact for record to report end-to-end processes
  • Ensure that core business processes align with organizational requirements and support the development of future business processes based on best practices and benchmarks
  • Assist with user acceptance training, user training, and defining end-to-end test scenarios
  • Align designed processes with IT, regional locations, the global master data team, and other end-to-end streams to ensure solutions meet organizational needs
  • Validate regional/local change requirements and ensure alignment with the global team
 
SAP Business Process Expert Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in transformation, ERP implementation and SAP S/4 Sales and Supply Chain lines of business
  • 5+ years of experience in an international business & IT environment, ideally in manufacturing
  • Ability to manage through influence and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Deep operational and process knowledge from an end-to-end core process perspective
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, moderating and motivating working groups
  • Ability to challenge requirements and solutions with the intention of adhering to best practices
  • Understanding of work stream processes within SAP and underlying Master Data (SAP expertise not required but beneficial)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations or relevant disciplines
  • Experience and knowledge in implementing ERP systems using project lifecycle processes, including design, testing, implementation and support
  • Experience working with Master Data Management within a manufacturing company
