LaSalle Network is partnered with a top client in the Downtown Chicago area in search of a motivated and organized Diversity and Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join their team and help drive their learning initiatives, enhance employee skills and support career development.
The Diversity and L&D Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing training programs that align with our client’s company objectives and employee development needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cornerstone as an LMS system and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
Diversity and L&D Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs and identify learning opportunities across the organization
- Design, deliver and evaluate a range of training programs, workshops and seminars
- Create and maintain training materials, resources and content
- Collaborate with department leaders to tailor training programs to specific team needs
- Administer and manage the Cornerstone LMS system, including user management, course creation and reporting
- Ensure all learning content is accurately uploaded, organized and updated in Cornerstone
- Generate and analyze reports on training participation, effectiveness and compliance
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding training opportunities and career development
- Monitor and track employee progress and development through various learning programs
- Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve training programs
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements and communications
- Foster relationships with external training providers and consultants when needed
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and outcomes
Diversity and L&D Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a Learning and Development role
- Hands-on experience with Cornerstone LMS system highly preferred
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certification in Learning and Development or Instructional Design preferred
- Experience with other LMS systems or e-learning tools preferred
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in learning and development preferred
