In this Senior Buyer position, you will have autonomy across your projects while working collaboratively with a team composed of other seniors and managers. This role will predominately be responsible for large machinery and equipment type purchases rather than bulk buys. We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to support the growth through North America. In addition, this role has a voice. Leadership is looking for someone who is interested in creating better practices, having influence in the way the work is done and partnering with internal customer needs to identify creative sourcing solutions, managing RFP processes and contract negotiations.

Senior Buyer Responsibilities:
- Recommend and develop strategic purchasing initiatives for the North America CapEx category
- Forecast internal customer needs and identify sourcing solutions
- Provide cost-benefit analysis
- Lead RFP processes for CapEx category, including contract negotiations
- Serve as liaison between vendors and internal customers
Senior Buyer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
- 2+ years of capital equipment and project sourcing experience
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel (10%) within North America
- Strong communication skills with peers and upper-level management
