Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform financial analysis and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Oversee cost accounting and inventory management processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist in external and internal audit preparations
- Collaborate with various departments to support financial planning and budgeting
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Ability to work fully onsite in Lake Forest, IL
