Material Planning Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop, refresh and maintain Stock Out and Exception Message reports to address component coverage risks
- Generate and analyze reports on forecasted component volumes and fluctuations to address stakeholder inquiries and support the Material Planning Team
- Create and enhance Excel-based reports to support IBP process, analyzing data related to packaging components, identifying trends and volume changes and providing actionable insights
- Develop visualizations for monthly IBP presentations, focusing on inventory and forecast metrics
- Collaborate with the Master Data team to implement necessary changes and controls
- Undertake additional projects and requests as needed
Material Planning Analyst Requirements:
- Proficient in handling large datasets and complex Excel formulas
- Skilled in translating data analysis into actionable insights
- Collaborative with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive in driving process improvements
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, STEM or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably within the CPG industry
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is desirable, though current work will primarily use Excel
