Purchasing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Receive, enter and complete POs for food products based on customer demand and trends
- Communicate with sales and AP on price discrepancy
- Anticipate needs for customers and order product efficiently
- Handle last minute purchase requests and track down the necessary vendors to complete the PO
Purchasing Specialist Requirements:
- 1+ years of tactical purchasing experience, preferably with food
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with last-minute requests and anticipate customer needs
- Ability to communicate efficiently with Sales and AP
