Our client, a Chicago based loan processing firm, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Email Support Agent to join their team and help drive superior customer experiences. As a key player in our client’s fast-paced, high-volume contact center, you’ll communicate with customers across multiple channels—email, phone, and voicemail—answering inquiries, processing applications and assisting with account issues. Customer Email Support Agent Responsibilities:

  • Provide top notch communication skills through email with customers
  • Draft clear, professional emails to address customer inquiries and issues
  • Respond promptly to emails and ensure that written communication is courteous and accurate
  • Resolve customer requests through email, ensuring proper documentation and attention to detail
  • Provide world-class service and build lasting relationships with customers
  • Manage and master proprietary CRM system to ensure seamless customer interactions
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls while keeping call times efficient
  • Thoroughly review and process customer documentation, emails and faxes in line with company policies
  • Process payments, assist with account inquiries and resolve delinquent balances
  • Leave scripted, clear voicemail messages and follow up promptly
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal lending requirements
  • Stay positive and flexible in a dynamic work environment, contributing to team success
  • Meet and exceed performance goals while embracing coaching and feedback

Customer Email Support Agent Requirements:
  • High school diploma required, college preferred
  • 2+ years of call center experience; proven ability to multitask under pressure
  • Proficiency with technology, typing at least 35 wpm while talking, excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong written communication skills, with an ability to craft professional, effective email responses
  • Must obtain debt collector registration within 5 days of employment
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and relevant regulatory acts (FDCPA, Truth in Lending, etc.) is a plus
