Currently, they our seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit & Collections Representative to join their team in Springfield, MO. The Credit & Collections Representative is responsible for analyzing customer credit data to assess creditworthiness and managing the collection process for outstanding transactions. This role involves granting credit to customers, monitoring accounts for overdue payments and proactively resolving payment disputes to ensure timely cash flow.

Credit & Collections Representative Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer credit data to assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions regarding credit limits and payment terms
  • Grant credit to new and existing customers based on thorough evaluations of their financial stability and payment history
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and proactively address any potential credit issues
  • Manage the collection process for open transactions, ensuring timely follow-up on delinquent accounts to maintain cash flow
  • Actively collect account balances and resolve payment disputes to enhance customer relationships and facilitate timely payments

Credit & Collections Representative Requirements:
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions regarding credit lines and payment terms
  • Relevant experience in commercial credit and collections with an understanding of standard practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to navigate ERP systems effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal teams and customers
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
