Our client, a global leader in the CPG space, is seeking an experienced and vibrant Director, HRBP to join their corporate HR team in downtown Chicago! The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development and workforce planning to meet the demands of a dynamic, fast-moving CPG environment.
Director, HRBP Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior business leaders to understand the organization’s goals and align HR strategies to drive business success
- Act as a consultant to the leadership team on HR matters, including talent management, organizational design, workforce planning and succession planning
- Develop and implement human resources initiatives that improve organizational performance, employee retention and culture
- Support the business in navigating change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Lead talent review processes, performance management and succession planning for key roles
- Drive leadership development programs and coaching initiatives to build leadership capability at all levels
- Oversee employee training and development initiatives to upskill employees in line with organizational needs and market trends
- Design and execute employee engagement strategies, working closely with leadership to foster a collaborative and engaged work environment
- Analyze employee feedback and data to provide insights and recommendations for improving employee satisfaction and retention
- Work with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) on compensation and benefits, HR technology and employee relations to ensure HR services are efficiently delivered
- Act as a change agent for large-scale transformations such as mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and other business shifts
- Equip leaders with the tools and strategies to effectively manage change while maintaining employee morale and productivity
Director, HRBP Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a business partner role supporting senior leadership in a large, matrixed organization
- Strong experience in the CPG, consumer goods or food/beverage manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of implementing HR strategies that drive business results
- Deep expertise in talent management, employee relations, organizational design and change management
- Experience leading and managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
