The Merchandising Coordinator will manage SKUs throughout their life cycle, ensuring accurate product data and visibility across internal and external systems. This role supports the product management and merchandising teams of our client by overseeing product information, coordinating with various departments and maintaining up-to-date product listings. The position is based in Bolingbrook, IL, with a hybrid work schedule.

Merchandising Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SKU creation, style variants and pricing updates
  • Collaborate with the pricing department to manage SKU costs and visibility
  • Code SKUs for distribution centers and update records for discontinued SKUs
  • Manage product details such as case quantities, GTIN/UPC, dimensions and pricing
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions, specs and safety compliance for the website
  • Assign categories, companions and comparables to improve customer experience
  • Work with pricing, customer support and imagery teams to resolve product-related issues
  • Assist in identifying mill drops and updating quality codes
  • Serve as the main contact for product inquiries, including safety compliance and product specs
  • Maintain product knowledge bases and manage communication for product transitions

Merchandising Coordinator Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in merchandising, product management, SKU management or related background experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with databases and e-commerce platforms – Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of product compliance standards is a plus
  • Hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days onsite in Bolingbrook
