LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic healthcare association dedicated to improving patient outcomes and healthcare access. As they continue to expand their digital presence, we are seeking a UX Manager to lead their user experience initiatives and ensure that their digital platforms deliver a seamless and user-friendly experience for their members, healthcare professionals and the general public.
The UX Manager will oversee the design, development and implementation of user experience strategies across all digital platforms. This role requires a visionary leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, marketing and content creators, to create intuitive, efficient and engaging digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX research, design thinking and healthcare technology.
UX Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process from concept to completion for all digital initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user needs and create personas, user journeys and wireframes
- Conduct UX research, including user interviews, usability testing and analytics reviews to inform design decisions
- Manage and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards
- Work closely with product management and development teams to ensure UX designs are effectively implemented
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in UX, healthcare technology and accessibility standards
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products
- Analyze and improve current digital user experiences, recommending enhancements based on data and user feedback
UX Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX research, design thinking and wireframing skills
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech or a related industry is highly preferred
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar
- Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
