Web Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead website development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project workflows, including Kanban boards, sprint planning, backlog grooming and task prioritization
- Develop project plans, timelines and resource allocation strategies to support successful project execution
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery on time and within scope
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including the marketing team and B2B team, to gather project requirements, define objectives and establish project priorities
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Provide regular project updates, status reports and presentations to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues proactively
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure website functionality, usability and performance meet or exceed project requirements
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders and address feedback or issues promptly to ensure a seamless user experience
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to track project progress, manage tasks and document project-related information
- Familiarity with Figma is preferred for collaborating on design assets and mockups, although not required
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework, including Agile practices and tools
- Actively participate in retrospective meetings, gather feedback from team members and implement actionable improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
Web Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on website development projects and Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, including Kanban boards, sprint planning, backlog management and iterative development cycles
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project
- Experience collaborating with Marketing and B2B stakeholders
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment and collaborating with remote and onsite teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance and project delivery excellence
