Our client is in search of a Food Sensory Technician that is responsible for executing quality product reviews, coordinating administrative tasks and supporting product evaluation sessions. This includes managing samples, inventory and preparing review materials. The role also involves collecting sensory data and compiling reports.
Food Sensory Technician Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Quality Product Reviews, ensuring readiness and support during sessions
- Manage sample logistics, including selection, ordering and tracking shipments
- Gather production data for review and prepare materials for sessions
- Oversee back-of-house activities, including preparation, cooking and clean-up
- Maintain product inventory and supplies in the culinary space
- Support annual Sensory Training preparations and maintain QA sensory materials
- Perform routine maintenance on quality equipment
- Compile sensory performance data for reports and assist in audits as needed
Food Sensory Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma, certificate in Excel or organizational skills preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Related experience is a plus but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable working in a culinary environment
- Detail-oriented, organized and capable of working independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
