In our quest for continued excellence in all these areas, we’re searching for a Director of Recruiting to drive success in our Accounting & Finance staffing vertical.  

As our Director of Recruiting, you’ll lead a team of talented recruiters, mentoring them to hit their recruiting goals and exceed expectations. You’ll be responsible for fueling the growth of the division by crafting sourcing strategies and client development plans, ensuring that LaSalle remains the premier accounting & finance staffing firm in Chicagoland. 

Director of Recruiting Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and develop a team of recruiters, ensuring that they achieve established metrics and placement targets 
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth in revenue, gross profit, headcount and hours 
  • Work with managers and senior recruiters to develop and execute sourcing strategies, ensuring a high volume of quality candidates for key roles
  • Oversee usage of job boards and other sourcing tools to ensure alignment with recruiting strategies 
  • Collaborate with sales team to build and grow client relationships 
  • Create a culture of urgency and accountability within your team  
  • Coach employees on performance, providing regular feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and develop a strong network in the accounting & finance space via attendance at networking events and conferences 

Director of Recruiting Requirements:
  • 5+ years of staffing industry experience, preferably in accounting & finance temp staffing 
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team in a high-performance setting 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment 
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to sourcing and relationship building 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Willingness to work a hybrid work schedule: work onsite Monday-Thursday and enjoy the flexibility of remote Fridays
