LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Drop Ship Associate for one of their largest clients in the telecommunications space. In this role, you will manage orders shipped directly from manufacturers or distributors to end users, bypassing warehouses. This buyer role supports specific product lines, guiding Sales on product requirements and ensuring timely order processing and billing accuracy.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity, full-time hours, M-F. Ideal candidate will live in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago and open to being onsite around once-twice a week.
Drop Ship Associate Responsibilities:
- Review and qualify purchase orders for assigned product lines
- Maintain relationships with vendors, partners and internal teams
- Assist Sales with order modifications and fulfillment needs
- Update and track aging orders, part number information and pricing in various databases
- Follow internal procedures and seek management assistance for complex issues
Drop Ship Associate Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of purchasing/sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting)
- Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
