LaSalle Network has partnered with a reputable optometry office in Chicago to find a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join their team! This role is essential in providing an excellent patient experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying insurance, updating patient demographics and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check-in/check-out patients with professionalism and care
- Verify insurance coverage and communicate benefits to patients
- Accurately update and maintain patient demographic information
- Schedule appointments and manage phone inquiries with top-notch customer service
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Medical Receptionist Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist role; experience in optometry is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with bilingual Spanish-speaking skills highly preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized and comfortable with electronic health record systems
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment effectively
