LaSalle Network has partnered with a Nashville-based national service-based company, that operates as a subscription model, in hiring a Director, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing. The Director, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing is crucial in defining and enhancing the end-to-end customer experience by developing and executing strategies that drive engagement, loyalty and retention across all lifecycle stages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding customer needs, a strategic approach to driving personalized engagement and a track record of improving customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
This will be a fully onsite role once the office remodel is completed in January 2025.
Director, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a cohesive customer journey strategy, identifying key touchpoints and optimizing interactions to ensure an exceptional experience across all channels
- Drive targeted lifecycle marketing programs across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation stages, leveraging insights and data to deliver personalized, relevant communications
- Lead the creation of targeted engagement and retention campaigns, including email marketing, push notifications, in-app messaging and other channels to keep customers engaged and increase repeat usage
- Design and implement retention strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, increase engagement, and build brand advocates
- Conduct research and analyze customer insights to deeply understand evolving customer needs, preferences and pain points. Translate findings into actionable strategies that improve customer satisfaction and experience
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop lifecycle content strategies that address customer needs at each stage, from onboarding and education to advocacy and loyalty
- Build a systematic approach to gather, analyze and act upon customer feedback through surveys, reviews and direct interactions to shape the overall customer journey
- Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools to create scalable, automated lifecycle programs. Continuously explore new technologies to enhance lifecycle efforts
- Lead and mentor a team of customer experience and lifecycle marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
Director, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in customer experience, lifecycle marketing or related roles, with 3+ years in a leadership position
- Proven track record of developing and executing customer experience and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive growth and retention
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, as well as customer feedback and survey tools
- Strong understanding of industry trends, emerging media technologies, and best practices
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and experience in team and agency management
