Senior Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive financial operations, including monthly close processes, financial reporting and strategic budgeting
- Manage a team of five finance professionals, providing leadership, mentorship and professional development
- Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems and inventory management protocols
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and executive management
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements
Senior Finance Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA preferred
- CPA certification strongly desired
- 8+ years of progressive financial management experience in manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of team leadership and management
- Advanced Excel and financial software expertise
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management techniques
