LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global specialized imports company seeking a Director of Global Procurement to join their team due to a retirement! This organization supplies specialized toiletries to a variety of customers including hospitality, healthcare and disaster relief programs.

The Director of Global Procurement will play a pivotal role in managing the sourcing, purchasing and strategic procurement of materials, finished goods and services required for their global operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, ensure supply chain efficiency and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers. This role requires a deep understanding of global supply markets, supplier and contract negotiation and supply chain operations.

This position will be based full-time in Nashville, TN and requires up to 25% international travel.


Director of Global Procurement Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to identify and engage suppliers for consumer goods and raw materials
  • Establish and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with key suppliers across multiple regions to ensure competitive pricing, quality and continuity of supply
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal costs and delivery timelines
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
  • Implement procurement best practices and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and manage procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities and track procurement metrics
  • Manage supply chain risks related to suppliers, geopolitical changes, tariffs and disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, environmental policies and corporate sustainability goals
  • Work closely with the Product Development, Marketing and Operations teams to understand evolving product requirements and consumer demand

Director of Global Procurement Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or related fields, ideally within the consumer goods industry
  • Proven experience managing international suppliers and global procurement strategies
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, logistics and international trade regulations
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proficient in procurement software
