Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
- Calculate monthly, quarterly and year-end commissions and bonuses for sales teams, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Support the setup, management and maintenance of sales compensation plans, including commission structures, bonuses and incentives
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of sales compensation data, including commissions and quota tracking reports
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and make recommendations on compensation adjustments to drive better sales results
- Work closely with sales leadership, finance and HR teams to ensure compensation plans are aligned with sales goals and company objectives
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to sales compensation, including discrepancies in compensation calculations or plan misalignments
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing compensation processes and recommend best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required to support business decisions related to sales compensation and incentives
Financial Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales compensation, finance or a related analytical field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas); experience with sales compensation software is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data and ensure accuracy in reporting and calculations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and explain complex compensation concepts
