Technical Support Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees working in-office and remote
- Assist with the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of hardware, desktop equipment, printers, cameras, scanners, and copiers.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of network hardware, software, and firm laptops.
- Develop and maintain concise process documentation related to responsibilities
- Administer network accounts, Azure environment, Office 365 licensing, and onboarding/offboarding employees.
- Participate in project work as assigned.
Technical Support Specialist Requirements:
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Administration, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing equipment
- Strong skills in assisting remote workers with troubleshooting work-from-home technology setups
- Exposure to iManage or another Document Management System (DMS) is ideal
- Strong organizational skills, including record-keeping, data collection, and system information management
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing over 75 pounds
- Capability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago Loop office
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical support; law firm experience is preferred
- Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours for on-call support
- Occasional travel to Northbrook office for troubleshooting
- Technical Degree is required
