206,000 Jobs Added
In June, the U.S. economy again added slightly more jobs than expected with the main gains concentrated in government, health care, social assistance and construction.
4.1% Unemployment Rate
The unemployment rate edged up slightly from 4.0% to 4.1%, tied for the highest level since October 2021.
62.6% Labor Force Participation Rate
The labor force participation rate increased slightly from 62.5% to 62.6%.
