We are partnering with an award-winning, family-owned company that provides year-round landscaping services to commercial, HOA and residential clients across Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin. Our client’s dedicated team enhances the beauty, value and enjoyment of every property, offering customized design, maintenance, lawn care, lighting, irrigation and snow services.

The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving the company’s sales goals and maintaining their high standards of customer service. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, generating new sales leads and building lasting client relationships.

Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Independently generate leads for new sales and identify additional opportunities within existing client base
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, collaborating with the B2B team to achieve and exceed sales goals for lawn and snow services
  • Build long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, aiming for an 85% renewal rate
  • Generate property improvement proposals, review contracts for accuracy, present to clients and close sales
  • Conduct site reviews with Field Operations Managers to ensure budget adherence and quality control
  • Actively network to create new opportunities and leads within the industry
  • Work with the design-build team on construction work order opportunities
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve potential customer issues

Account Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years in Landscape Sales and/or Landscape Account Management
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; ability to learn BOSSlm software
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and insurability on the company’s insurance policy
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism in customer and team interactions
  • Experience with LinkedIn and social media networking
