Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, payroll, and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
- Develop and enhance internal financial reporting and controls
- Partner with FP&A, legal, and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
- Mentor and grow a high-performing accounting team
- Manage audit preparation, tax filings, and external financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in management
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth industries strongly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
