Accounts Payable Analyst Responsibilities:
- Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
- Analyze AP data and trends to improve processes and prevent discrepancies
- Reconcile AP accounts, resolving any outstanding issues with vendors and internal teams
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP
- Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Accounts Payable Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in AP software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High attention to detail and ability to identify trends in financial data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
