Our client is looking for an experienced, detail-loving Accounts Payable Manager to join their finance team and keep the gears running smoothly behind the scenes. If you're someone who thrives on checking off to-dos, has a knack for coaching a team, and loves a clean reconciliation, we might just be your next home.
In this role, you'll oversee all things AP — from supplier payments to employee reimbursements — making sure everything flows like… well, milk. You’ll be the go-to for invoice coding, vendor questions, and will work cross-functionally to keep everyone (and everything) paid and happy.

Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities:
  • Leading and supporting a small-but-mighty team of 3–4 AP Analysts (including a few remote folks in Wisconsin)
  • Managing daily invoice entries and prepping our weekly payment runs like a champ
  • Keeping tabs on our GRNI (Goods Received, Not Invoiced) account with regular reconciliations
  • Processing credit card statements and batch uploads like it’s second nature
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, with stellar service from start to finish
  • Rolling up your sleeves to help with monthly reporting, clean data entry, and smooth AP operations in Dynamics SL and Docuware
  • Partnering with teams across the business to chase down approvals, solve problems, and generally make life easier
  • Jumping in with front desk support when needed — team players only, please!

Accounts Payable Manager Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting (Associate or higher)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience
  • A solid grasp of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (you know your way around a pivot table)
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and professional
  • Superhuman attention to detail and organization
  • Team leadership abilities — you enjoy helping others grow
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the drive to keep improving
Bonus Points If You:
  • Have experience working in food manufacturing- or related environment.
  • Enjoy a good spreadsheet almost as much as a good cheese board.

Thank you,

Rachel Stewart
