AP Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports and payment requests
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations
- Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
AP Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, healthcare industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Hybrid arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Standard business hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
AP Specialist Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 per year
- Location: Hybrid (Downtown Chicago)
