Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Generate and process monthly customer invoices
- Download check images and credit card payment information from various banking platforms for processing
- Apply customer payments accurately into the accounting system
- Reconcile payment data entered into the system with bank data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the Market Business Manager to review and analyze A/R aging reports to ensure timely collections
- Enter credit and debit adjustments as needed, including managing bad debt entries
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment information, working closely with the Market Business Manager to resolve any issues. This may include sending statements, duplicate invoices, or other requested documentation
- Update and maintain the retransmission revenue deposit tracking worksheet, ensuring all relevant monthly correspondence from distributors is received and accurately recorded
- Provide support for A/P tasks and/or payroll-related functions as needed
Accounts Receivable Specialist Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and revenue management
- Strong reconciliation skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers
- Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently in a remote work environment
