AV Technician Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of video conferencing systems, classroom and auditorium setups, and event AV installations
- Ensure seamless operation of executive conference room AV systems, supporting meetings with high-level stakeholders
- Diagnose and resolve AV system issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support to ensure optimal system performance
- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand their AV requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry standards
- Leverage a working knowledge of Crestron and other professional AV systems to implement and optimize technology solutions
- Stay current with emerging AV technologies and best practices to continually enhance service delivery
AV Technician Requirements:
- Proven experience with video conferencing systems, classroom/auditorium AV setups, and event AV configurations
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of AV system diagnostics
- Demonstrated proficiency with Crestron and other professional AV manufacturer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-level executives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Willingness to work on-site in Chicago, five days a week
