Bilingual Patient Account Representative Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional communication with patients and internal teams
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email in a timely, courteous manner
- Use computer systems to manage patient accounts, troubleshoot issues, and track information
- Research insurance portals, verify benefits, and resolve billing inquiries
- Analyze account activity, determine accurate balances, and explain them clearly to patients
- Resolve patient concerns by identifying the best solutions
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support our team and patients
Bilingual Patient Account Representative Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant experience or training
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance guidelines, and explanation of benefits
- Familiarity with complex claim denials
- Excellent communication skills—in both English and Spanish
- Highly organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative setting
- Tech-savvy with experience using standard office equipment
- Familiarity with Nextgen PM, Acumen, and/or Epic is highly preferred
