LaSalle Network is partnering with a renowned hospital system in Chicago to find a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the city’s largest healthcare providers and play a vital role in delivering quality patient care.
Ideal candidates will have experience with EPIC software and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Bilingual candidates who speak Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply, as this is a plus for enhancing patient communication and care.
Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams and assisting physicians during procedures
- Accurately document patient information, medical history and care provided in the EPIC system
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, handling patient inquiries and maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Educate patients on follow-up care and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to each patient
Certified Medical Assistant Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy healthcare setting and manage multiple priorities
