Clinical Denial Representative Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling 25 clinical appeals per day
- Collaboration with the Utilization Review (UR), Coding and Nursing departments
- Peer-to-peer review process
Clinical Denial Representative Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in clinical denials and appeals
- Experience as a Registered Nurse (no additional certifications required)
- Software experience in Epic
- Candidates should have experience handling denials related to Medicaid, commercial and Medicare
- Strong appeal writing skills are a must
