Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget, forecasting financial results and making recommendations for improvements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide timely reports to the management team, highlighting key financial metrics, trends and variances
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support and training as needed
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA designation is preferred
- 5+ years of experience with accounting functions, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control procedures
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
