We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Communications Specialist to join our client’s team on a contract-basis. The ideal candidate will come from a strong writing and design background with experience developing and executing strategic communication plans for a client in the law or financial sector.
This is a remote open-ended contract! Should you be based in Chicago, there could be a hybrid capacity!
Corporate Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Write the marketing content and create the graphics for attorney bios, pitch decks brochures, blogs, promotional content and external communications
- Tailor content to align with the firm's voice and the specific needs of legal services audience
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership articles, white papers and case studies
Corporate Communications Specialist Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing communications within the legal services or financial industry required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio and/or samples to share
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud required
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of legal industry trends and regulations is a plus
