We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. This hybrid role allows for a flexible work environment while ensuring you are embedded in a collaborative team dedicated to protecting organizational assets from cyber threats. You will monitor, assess, and enhance our security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding sensitive data.
 
Cybersecurity Analyst Responsibilities
  • Analyze system logs, network traffic, and security events to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Respond to incidents and coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery activities
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Implement remediation plans to address security gaps
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC)
  • Conduct training sessions to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices
  • Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization
  • Assist with the deployment and management of firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and recommend security upgrades

Cybersecurity Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role
  • One or more of the following is highly preferred:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • Proficiency with security tools and platforms, such as SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight), firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and secure architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
