Our client, an investment firm, located in Harbour Island, Bahamas, is in need of a Director of Sales. Their ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of hospitality experience and be willing to relocate to Bahamas.

The Director of Sales will lead the sales team to meet and exceed company revenue targets. This strategic role encompasses developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, achieving sales objectives and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales department.

As a team player with strong communication and follow-through skills, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments and partners to achieve common goals.

Director of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Align sales strategies with overall company goals
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Oversee the creation and execution of sales plans, including sales and marketing materials, digital marketing/SEO and sales for leisure, group and travel agents, as well as third-party agency partnerships
  • Ensure efficient sales processes and pipeline management
  • Manage sales budgets and forecasts
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners
  • Lead high-level negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align efforts
  • Provide regular sales performance updates to the executive team
  • Analyze sales data to drive future improvements

Director of Sales Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in hotel sales
  • Experience working in the Bahamas or Caribbean, particularly in the upscale/luxury market
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems and other relevant technology
