Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow) Responsibilities:
- Partake in the development of ServiceNow application architecture, including the Target State Application Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations
- Ensuring that ServiceNow architectures are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain reference architecture, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards
- Identify areas for capability improvement and implementing strategies and roadmaps to address them
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritization initiatives
- Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluating their potential impact on the organization
- Communicating technology target state, roadmap and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow) Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science or related field
- 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, APM, SPM, App Engine), preferred in a global capacity
- Knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns and best practices
- Experience developing and implementing architecture governance, guidelines, procedures and standards
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce.com (Sales, Marketing Cloud), MuleSoft, Azure or Microsoft M365
- Proven change management skills
- Excellent communication, diplomacy and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with business and IT cross-functional teams
- Experience leading a team of architects, technology owners and technology subject matter experts
- Strong presentation skills
- Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) experience preferred
- Work experience at a large professional services organization a plus
- TOGAF and ServiceNow Technical or Master Architect certification preferred
