Epic Analyst Responsibilities:
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Epic Beacon, PB, or Ambulatory applications to support business and clinical needs.
- Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
- Perform system testing, validation, and upgrades while ensuring compliance with Epic standards.
- Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for Epic users across departments.
- Work closely with IT, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Stay updated on Epic updates, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure system compliance.
Epic Analyst Requirements:
- Must be certified in Beacon, Professional Billing (PB), or Ambulatory
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Epic Analyst, Epic Trainer, or Healthcare IT Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, IT, business, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of Epic build, configuration, and optimization
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment
