This role is budgeted up to $140,000 plus competitive year-end bonus based on individual and firm performance. The schedule is hybrid, with 3 days per week onsite.
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the firm's goals
- Manage the firm's budget and forecasting processes
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis for partners and management
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare management reports
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process
- Oversee billing processes, including time entry review and client invoicing
- Monitor and analyze billable hours, utilization rates and realization
- Evaluate profitability by practice area, partner and client
- Assist in pricing strategies for alternative fee arrangements
- Manage a team of finance and billing professionals
- Provide mentorship and guidance to finance staff
- Collaborate with partners and practice group leaders on financial matters
- Serve as liaison between finance department and firm management
Finance Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred
- 7+ years of financial management experience
- Professional or financial service industry experience required
- Experience with financial management systems
