The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets
- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis versus forecast and budget
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and capital investments
- Partner with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and efficiency opportunities
- Support month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations
- Continuously identify process improvements and automation opportunities within financial planning processes
FP&A Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis
- Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and operational finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
